Dates
Captains’ practices will be held August 4-8, 2025 from 8:00 – 10:00 am. They will be run by current varsity captains and Washburn soccer alumni, and are optional.
Tryouts for will be August 11-15, 2025. Registration for the fall season is required for all participants before tryouts begin.

Team Structure
There will be at four teams in 2025: Varsity, Junior Varsity (JV), Academy A, and Academy B.
Registration and Required Forms
Every player must be registered, have forms submitted, and fees paid before any player can tryout. They must also have a sports physical completed and on file with the Washburn athletic department before tryouts. Registration link and forms are available here.
Tryout Schedule
Tryouts for Washburn soccer are scheduled for August 11-15, 2025. As in prior years, players will be placed in either Pool A or Pool B. Freshmen and Sophomores will be placed in Pool B unless Coach Percy has received a recommendation from a player’s current coach. Juniors and Seniors will be placed in Pool A. Please note that the schedule may be adjusted as tryout dates get closer.
