Match Summary: Washburn junior Juan Louis completes a hat trick, scoring all three in the second half after Washburn and Robbinsdale Cooper ended the first half in a scoreless tie. Washburn broke away in the second half on Louis’s first goal, but Cooper kept it close until the last fifteen minutes, tying the score at 2-2 at the 68th minute. Louis knocked in a PK at 70′ and junior Luke Peterson put the match away with a power shot from the top of the box two minutes later. It was Peterson’s first goal as a varsity Washburn player. Louis nearly added a fourth goal, but his 30-yard shot sailed past the Cooper keeper just after the horn had sounded to end the game.
